Dawn and Dusk..

Yesterday, I was a little sick. I couldn't sleep for what seemed to be ages. But eventually, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I went out into the balcony and saw the beautiful sight of dawn. I felt a strange joy watching this sight. It was the faintest sense of raw pleasure. But after a while I realized that it wasn't dawn, it was dusk. In that brief moment it felt as if I had just lost everything in my life.
During the rising and setting of the sun, a time comes when both the processes show striking resemblance. The dusk shows off the colors of Dawn. A person with no track of time or direction may not be able to figure out whether its dawn or dusk. But despite the striking resemblance, both the phenomena tell totally different tales of near future.
One forecasts a new day, waking up and light while The other forecasts darkness, sleep and silence. One gives hope of a new beginning, trying to bury the uncomfortable moments of yesterday while the other gives news about night, a time to think and re-live the important moments of the last day, whether comfortable or otherwise.
One motivates us to get prepared for work and struggle. Other is the sign of unconsciousness and slumber. One compels the birds to go out in search of food, the other forces them back in their nests. One warns about a very long action-packed time; the day. The other gives news about a very short time passed unconsciously; the night. One representing a time to utilize your energies while the other giving an opportunity to regain them.
But we just overlook all this. while We can still go deeper and deeper into the amazing alternating phenomena of nature; The dawn and the dusk......

Life..

Life has two parts; Day and night,
One is dark, the other bright,
One is peace, the other fight,
One might, the other right..

It is an opportunity,
To build your personality,
Challenges of diversity,
Finite journey of infinity.

When you have made up your mind,
Stick with it there's no rewind.
Take my hand, leave all behind.
Whether you will or never find,

What you have been longing to see,
Not just for happiness and glee,
But to let yourself get free,
From walls of time and destiny.

The caravan of life goes on,
Like a race or marathon,
Will never wait, it will be gone,
If you don't keep up and on.

Even if be it for little bit,
On the way you stop and sit,
Like the arrogant rabbit,
You will soon be done with it..

In simple and conclusive note,
Just like a writer wrote,
Life is but a simple boat,
Which on deep sea is afloat.

Do not feel because of the sea,
Sadness and solidarity,
You have all the liberty,
Control your wheel of destiny..

The Soon Valley..

In my recent visit to Soon Valley in Punjab, Pakistan, I wrote this poem...

O valley of "Soon",

serene and peaceful,

you gave message of harmony,

silent yet meaningful.

May your children prosper forever,

playing around and having fun,

May your lake remain at peace,

sparkling in the sun..

The clouds passing by,

kissing the mountain top,

giving away beauty for free,

as much as eyes can shop.

The rustling and the chirping,

and wind whistling along,

with beautiful rhythm,

creating nature's song.

My heart giving the beat,

to this pleasing song,

the soothing lyric-less music,

makes me wanna sing along.

The sweet fragrance of roses,

spreading all around,

and with the graceful scenery,

making me spell-bound.

Lively people of the valley,

away from evil sins,

better than the artificial,

and modern hollow-men..

the beauty and the charm,

wherever my eyes fall,

use any gadget you want,

can't be captured at all.

So I throw away the camera,

and forget all the rest,

enjoy this magical moment,

truly nature at its best..
